"The Art of Education is the Education of the Heart"

" On a sunny day, during the Christmas holiday of 1999, an Italian couple was strolling along the Coromandel coast near the fishing village of Kovalam, in Tamil Nadu, when they were surrounded by a bunch of local children. The small group then moved in the direction of some larger buildings along the coast.

The group of buildings was a school, exactly. In the center of the school there was a church that on top bore its building date. That was 1806. The church had been built by a generous Portuguese trader named John ' de Monte. The two Italians tourists were surprised that such an old church would seat on this beach of fishermen. They asked the Priest news about school. There were no less that 2.500 students from surroundings villages. The most part had no place to sleep and classrooms were taken place under the open sky.

The two Italians represented a Charitable Foundation from Monaco named " Fondation Cuomo ".
On that day it was decided that the school needed help and this is how this - 10 years - adventure has started.
