Education is the cornerstone of the projects of the Cuomo Foundation. Since 1999, the Foundation has built 3 schools in Tamil Nadu, 5 home for girls and boys, one primary school in Chennai.
The Cuomo Foundation has built the first school in Kovalam, a small fishermen village, situated a few kilometers south of Chennai, along the coast of Coromandel.
