OPERATION SMILE SERVANT is an organization which started thirteen years ago and that performs face reconstruction surgeries in Niger. This to help children to cure of pathologies (noma, burns, congenital malformations, tumors) worsened by malnutrition.
Two expeditions are organized each year in the NATIONAL HOSPITAL of NIAMEY under the direction of Prof. JEAN MARIE SERVANT. The Cuomo Foundation "Special Luigi Frateschi" will permit "a new smile" to 40 young patients.
Aim of this operation:
- The surgeries will bring a solution to the physical and moral throes of these pathologies
- Allow a social rehabilitation |
