In 2010, the Cuomo Foundation, in partnership with the Chain of Hope, is working on the rehabilitation of a primary school located in Koha Tulka in the Panshir Region of Afghanistan.
This activity is taking place within the program for aid for the education of poor schoolchildren in the Panshir and aims to give to girls the right to education, up to now denied them.

The Cuomo Foundation supports the social work of the municipality of Monaco in financing a refrigerated vehicle that will distribute food to aged or disabled people. The service is running 7/7 days a week, and helps more than 180 people. This brand new vehicle will be running by the end of 2010. |

The Cuomo Foundation participates in the annual day of the children’s rights in Monaco during the «No Finish Line» as the main sponsor. All the earnings will help to finance 3 projects that have been selected by «Children and Future» (the organizing association); The projects are:
- The surgery on children suffering of cardiac deformity that will take place in the Monaco Cardio Thoracique Center.
- The setup of a cardiac surgery room in Mauritania
- The support of the «Maison de Vie» in Carpentras (France). |
