The “Itinéraires artistiques de Saint-Louis” of Senegal sponsored by the Cuomo Foundation

The 7th edition of the Itinéraires artistiques de Saint-Louis, delayed by the global Covid health situation, was finally able to officially open to the public on 5 June,2021.

The Art exhibition takes place in the picturesque coastal city of Saint-Louis, Senegal and this year’s opening ceremony was attended by Mr Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Culture and Communication and Mr Mansour Faye, Mayor of Saint-Louis. The Cuomo Foundation is the principal sponsor for ‘Les Itineraires Artistique de Saint-Louis 2021’.

This annual cultural event, founded in 2013 by artist Abdou Karim Fall, has grown to become a major event on the Senegalese art scene in just eight years. Today, it brings together the best of Senegalese and neighbouring countries’ contemporary creations.

The exhibition, at the Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Sénégal (CRDS) gallery, will be open to the public until June 30, 2021.
